A Night at the Races
Friday June 20th
Feed your need for speed and cheer on our neighbor and fellow HP Group member, Mike Simmons, as he gets a flawless start and drives his 55 Chevy dragster down the strip.
Preliminaries start at 4:00 pm with final runs beginning around 6:00. In the finals you race until you are eliminated. Contact Jim Evans if you are interested in going and we will be arranging car-pooling for those who are interested.

Meet the Waltons!
A new family has moved into the ward. The Waltons are moving into Laci Richie's home (formerly occupied by the Banachi family). They have three young children. More details to come.
We do know that they could use some help unloading a truck thisSaturday at about 9:30 am. Please come and welcome them to the neighborhood and ward and while there lend a hand with the unloading. I'm sure someone will provide donuts . . .

Girls Camp Security
We are still in need of volunteers to assist with security at Girls Camp this coming Monday night.
You will need to check in with and receive instruction from the caretaker, who lives in the first cabin on the left as you enter Camp MIA Shalom, by 9:00 p.m. on Monday night.
You will be on night watch duty beginning at 10:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. the following morning, please be prepared to stay awake throughout the night.
No children or young men under the age of 21 are permitted in camp.
Please observe Camp MIA Shalom Guidelines, including not wearing shorts or open-toed shoes. Please do not bring any animals or firearms.
The use of electronic devises will be permitted to assist with staying awake through the night if necessary, however, when on MIA Shalom property, NO electronics are allowed.
